Here is my stall all set up and rarin’ to go. Actually by the time I took the photy I had sold 2 wee bags of mixed badges, a tiny lemon meringue pie and a chick’n’pie!
A fairly good day with a steady stream of visitors as the building is right on a main street.
Captured earlier today, a furry acrobat nabbing as much as he can from the birds fatballs. Having failed to destroy the replacement seed feeder he/she has resorted to hanging by three toes and ripping through the green plastic nets!
The replacement seed feeder is held onto the branch by a bulldog clip and two medium sized safety pins – I defy the fuzzy critters to work that out!
After a while fiddling with facebook and not managing to add my flickr photys I have managed to add them here! Hooray! See the panel on the left showing my most recently added 4 pics.
For the first time in years I had proper frost on the upstairs windaes. As soon as I was up and moving it began to melt. Then there was a wee pathetic furry of fairy sized snow. At least our hill has been granted grit/salt bin status and a (almost luminous) yellow one has been installed (outstalled)!
Ready for winter high tea and sitting on a frilled pale blue doily. Full of currants and cherries, a generous layer of golden marzipan iced with a snowdrift of royal icing. I couldn’t resist cutting myself a slice.
Presented on a wooden board, finished with a wee sprig of holly and a few crumbs left for any passing mousie!

“replicakes” …a little web presence for little presents
A new showcase for my small model cakes, pastries and other foods.
So head on over to see the detailed photys and find out more.
Mooching though my photos I had a closer look at some from last year, sunny and bright, nice hibiscus flower. But viewed full size, which I don’t normally do, I saw the little spheres of pollen. Wow! my camera behaves better than I gave it credit for. …and I’ll have to have a closer look through the archives for any more hidden goodies.

Another nice day and I remembered to toddle to the top of the hill armed with a plastic box. My objective was a gathering of brambles and sure enough the nice big bush I had already photy’d was still covered with good sized fruit. I soon had at least a punnet full and a hand full of scratches/nettle stings and some purple fingers. Later in the day I decided to turn my hand to jam making instead of scoffing the lot in one go. Although not a great jam eater I am still pretty chuffed with the result – only one small pot but that’ll do fine. mmm…. sticky.
